Dynapack Viewer Software

With the introduction of Dyn@Link, Dynapac Compaction Equipment provides customers a tool to monitor and control their machine fleet efficiently and conveniently. This intelligent telematics system offers many possibilities to optimize fleet usage, reduce maintenance cost and save time and money.

Strongly committed to customer performance, Dynapac - Fayat Group are experts on developing innovative equipment for compaction, paving, milling and concrete applications. Dynapac is launching new software for the optimisation of asphalt compaction. The software runs on a cab-mounted computer, helping operators achieve the ideal rolling pattern by keeping track of the number of passes and showing temperatures in the asphalt. In a very short time, it becomes a consulting and software development company for national and international projects. ERP designed for papers and cardboard specialists Dynapack is the dynamic ERP that allows you to manage and interconnect business processes for the corrugated cardboard and paper converting sector intuitively and efficiently.

Dyn@Link is available in three packages: Dyn@Link Standard, Dyn@Link Advanced and Dyn@Link Pro.

DYN@LINK STANDARD

The standard Dyn@Link package records the location of a customer’s equipment once every hour – both Dynapac made machines and equipment made by other manufacturers. The last known location of each machine is visible on a map in the Dyn@Link online portal. Geo-fences can be defined so that when a machine leaves a certain area, an alert is sent to a pre-defined e-mail address.

DYN@LINK ADVANCED

Dyn@Link Advanced offers several interesting additional features supporting a full optimization of the machine park. It registers the equipment location every minute and logs many extra machine parameters like fuel consumption, engine load and coolant temperature.

This allows customers to analyze fuel consumption per hour for instance, or compare the performance of different machines. Other things that help them get a grip on their operations are productivity analyses, based on operating and idle times. For example, you can see that a specific compactor is standing idle at a time when you would not expect it. With this information you can talk to the operators on the ground, find the cause, and come up with a solution. Without the data provided by Dyn@Link Advanced one would not have known about the problem in the first place.

DYN@LINK PRO

Dynapack Viewer Software

Dyn@Link Pro is the most extensive package offered and especially useful for the most advanced equipment like asphalt rollers, pavers and planers. On top of what Dyn@Link Advanced offers, it includes paving parameters like screed width and layer thickness values, all linked to the geographical location of the paver. Dyn@Link Pro also offers an integrated interface with BPO ASPHALT, a construction process optimization tool that allows contractors to optimize planning, execution and documentation of construction projects.

CUSTOMIZED WEBSITE – ALL DATA EASY TO ACCESS (all Dyn@Link packages)
Depending on personal preferences and requirements, the Dyn@Link online portal can be customized for measurement units, map settings and notification frequency.
With the various filters and personal settings for graphs and tables, the webpage can be adapted to individual requirements to meet various customers’ needs. This makes the webpage very easy to learn and use.

REMOTE DIAGNOSTICS – HIGHER LEVEL SUPPORT (only Dyn@Link Advanced and Pro packages)
Besides the maintenance function, Dyn@Link Advanced and Pro, also features the possibility of tracking failures and warnings remotely, keeping downtime to a minimum. As an example, the Diesel Emission Fluid (DEF) level can be tracked or a low oil level can be detected. All machine warnings are sent to the webpage or (if desired) to a registered email address.

Dynapac is launching new software for the optimisation of asphalt compaction. The software runs on a cab-mounted computer, helping operators achieve the ideal rolling pattern by keeping track of the number of passes and showing temperatures in the asphalt. The Dynapac Compaction Analyzer for Asphalt (DCA-A) will launch at Bauma as an option for the newly-launched CC424, CC524 and CC624 articulated tandem rollers. It can also be retrofitted to older machines.

The introduction of DCA-A follows the successful launch in 2004 of similar software for use in soil compaction. DCA-A has been developed to give operators real-time information about the rolling, enabling them to plan their next passes taking account of the current temperature of each area. Tracking the number of passes makes it easy for the operator to maintain control of the pattern and achieve the best results. Better planning of the rolling operation also ensures jobs are carried out more efficiently resulting in using less fuel. With DCA-A, operators can see the results on the coloured graphical display, highlighting at a glance which zones need further compaction. Without DCA-A, they have to remember in detail how many passes have been carried out in each area. The system is used in conjunction with a global positioning system (GPS) to track the machine’s location, enabling accurate recording for each section. DCA-A incorporates readings from temperature sensors at different spots around the roller. Keeping tracking of the temperature guides the roller operator to work in critical areas, which are cooling off and avoid those that are still too hot for compaction. The system provides full documentation of the compaction work carried out, meeting quality assurance demands as well as providing information for feedback and review.

DCA-A runs on a heavy-duty rugged laptop, ideal for use in site conditions. It is mounted on a bracket in the upper left part of the cab, giving clear visibility for operators and easy control via a touch screen. The system works with a range of popular GPS equipment so that customers can use their existing receivers. There is no need to have a separate computer for every roller as the laptop can be moved from one docking station to another. Operators can use DCA-A in conjunction with Dynapac’s well-established PaveComp software to calculate the number of passes needed to achieve the right density for a particular mix. DCA-A can also be used in conjunction with test strip and core data to verify the rolling procedures before starting on the main areas. Incorporation of a USB port in the laptop facilitates easy transfer of the data back to the main office computer. Future methods will include the use of a radio modem. The system also has the potential for communication between more than one machine.
