Copy Snes9x3ds.3dsx, Snes9x3ds.smdh and snes9x3dstop.png into the /3ds/snes9x3ds on your SD card. Place your SNES ROMs inside any folder. Go to your Homebrew Launcher (either via Cubic Ninja, Soundhax or other entry points) and launch the snes9x3ds emulator. CIA Version: Use your favorite CIA installer to install snes9x3ds.cia into your CFW. BlargSNES was the first SNES emulator on 3DS, and it still has a use. It is currently the fastest SNES emulator, and most games that run on it run full speed no problem. Unfortunately, BlargSNES has somewhat poor emulation accuracy behind the scenes, so while some games look and play fine, but others experience crashes and other annoying bugs. The new Youtube application for the Nintendo 3DS comes with an interesting exploit that can turn the handheld device region-free. It has been reported by Wired UK that a hacker named Jordan 'smealum' Rabet has discovered an exploit that uses the Youtube app on the 3DS to bypass restrictions on the machine. Rabet has showed off the exploit, dubbed 'Tubehax' on twitter, where a short video was.
