Virtual Radar Client For Mac

Welcome to the VRC Web Site. You've arrived at the home of the Virtual Radar Client.VRC is used to connect to the VATSIM Virtual Air Traffic SIMulation network. VRC simulates the radar system used by air traffic controllers to guide aircraft along their routes through the simulated world on VATSIM. Multiple radar modes. (Ground, Tower, ARTS, DSR, VRC.) Multiple radar screens open at once, each with its own sector file and radar mode. Position and size of all windows are saved between sessions. Floating 'tool windows' for most secondary functions. (Chat, flight strip editing, communications, etc.).

Software to provide Air Traffic Control services on VATSIM is free. You have a choice of which software you prefer to use, though we recommend taking into account the popularity of the clients in your Division and therefore the help available to you in your training.

Currently all ATC clients are only available for Windows.

Audio for VATSIM (AFV) Compatibility

In-built - Audio for VATSIM is already built into the client and you need only set up your microphone and speakers/headset and your client connects to Audio for VATSIM.

Standalone AFV Client Required - Audio for VATSIM has not yet been integrated into the client so the standalone Audio for VATSIM client is required. Connect to VATSIM first through your preferred ATC client and then connect to the standalone Audio for VATSIM client.

For more information, and to download the Standalone AFV Client, visit the Audio for VATSIM website.

EuroScope - Standalone AFV Client Required

Virtual radar client for mac pro

Designed by Gergely Csernak and currently the most popular ATC client on the network, EuroScope (ES) is customisable and designed to simulate real-life radar software. It also features an innovative display, automatic controller coordination and a built-in simulation system.

Virtual Radar Client - Standalone AFV Client Required

Virtual Radar Client (VRC), designed by Ross Carlson, is designed for ease of use and to de-clutter your radar display. This client is still used by many in the VATSIM world due to it's excellent documentation, stability and low setup time.

vSTARs - Standalone AFV Client Required

Also developed by Ross Carlson, vSTARS is a high-fidelity simulation of the real ATC system (STARS) used in many approach control facilities in the United States.

ASRC - Standalone AFV Client Required

The Advanced Simulator Radar Client (ASRC) is earliest ATC client software that is still approved for use on the VATSIM network. ASRC can still be found on the AVSIM file library but is rarely used. You will need to be registered with AVSIM to access the library (free registration).
