Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities. I understand that you're trying to use a Yamaha YPG-235 keyboard with your MacBook Pro, but it isn't being recognized in the Audio/Midi settings or in GarageBand. I'm happy to help!
I see you have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers already, which is great. Make sure you're using the most recent Yamaha drivers for macOS 10.15 to start, which you can get directly from Yamaha here: USB-MIDI Driver V1.3.2-2 for Mac macOS 10.15-OS X 10.5 - Yamaha - United States.

If that doesn't solve the problem, I can recommend seeing if the issue continues in safe mode: Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support, and a new, test user: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac - Apple Support.
